06 Oct New Term!
In September we kicked off our new term of dancing!
A new term comes with a new timetable, and you can see all the updates on the ‘timetable’ section of our website. New term also means some brand new classes!! Our new classes are:
Jazz – Which will be taken by Reece Oliver, who guest choreographed in our last showcase. This is suitable for grades 3 and above.
Acro – Would you like to be stronger, more flexible and learn some amazing tricks? Then acro is for you! This class will be making their debut on stage early in 2019.
Commercial – keeping on trend we are adding commercial to our timetable in replacement of street jazz. This class will be taken by Miss Emily, and we are very pleased to be able to welcome her to the team.
CA Review
As previously mentioned, 2018-2019 will be focused on performing and improving this skill. Therefore we will be adding an extra show to our calendar! The dates for this show will be 8th and 9th February 2019 at Lowther Pavilion. There will be one show on Friday 8th at 7:30pm and two shows Saturday 9th at 2:30pm and 7:30pm. We will be reusing costumes from the previous showcase to keep costs down! As the focus is the students improving their performance skills.
Showcase 2019 will be performed at Lowther Pavilion 18th-20th July. There will be three shows, all starting at 7:30pm.
Workshops
We have been working hard over the summer to put together an exciting timetable of workshops, covering a wide range of styles for all ages and abilities. Workshops will include:
Stage combat, Commercial, Northern Ballet School, Tap Attack and Musical Theatre.
